Process Tech

Genesis offers a benefit package including 401(k), paid holidays, profit sharing, personal days, gain share, etc. Genesis works a five day/week schedule; all positions are required to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining established parameters and processes. This includes the set up and verification of the process at mold change. Other key responsibilities include maintaining department housekeeping to prevent loss or damage of material/product and the willingness to assist with mold changes as needed; overall support of the injection molding process. Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities/Keys to Success include: •Maintain MRP system and use it to purchase raw materials •Participate in sourcing of suppliers and negotiation of purchase terms as directed •Identify, research root causes of, and minimize inventory discrepancies •Professionally and regularly communicate with Suppliers and internal personnel to ensure required materials are available in a timely and minimum-cost manner •Continuously improve the Purchasing and Inventory Management functions within the parameters of our Quality System •Plan and perform regular cycle counts and the annual physical inventory •Monitor and document Supplier performance •Exhibit competence with Microsoft Excel •Continue professional growth and be willing to take on additional responsibilities Genesis offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, vacations, holidays, profit sharing, and 401k matching.

Program Manager

Due Date: 3/22/2018

Description: Program Manager has the responsibility of managing customers' programs and meeting or exceeding all customer requirements and deadlines. The Program Manager accomplishes defined expectations by overseeing multiple project activities and constant communication. Job Duties and Responsibilities: •Provide leadership, direction and development •Manage programs while maintaining overall budget and timing •Support production, quality, tooling and maintenance groups •Customer contact to maintain continued overall satisfaction •Manage tool builds, assist in tool design, and pre-production reviews •Interpret part prints in-order to design / source gages and develop inspection criteria •Proactively keep customer informed of project status •Manufacturing assistance for technical advice or to resolve tooling issues •Coordinate transition from pre-production to production •Ability to manage several programs at once and maintain organization •Support Material Review Board and assist in dispositioning of Nonconforming material •Assist with RFQ’s, mold quotes, supply chain management, scheduling, quality, mold maintenance, etc..

Skills: Requirements •Knowledge of injection molding resins and molding press capabilities •Strong Presentation skills and attention to detail •Understanding of AIAG and IATF16949 •Experience with PPAP, SPC, GD&T, APQP and PFMEA •Excellent internal and external managerial and communication skills •Knowledge of project management •Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs & Web Conferences •Understand company policy and how everyone is affected Experience: •Injection Molding Tooling (Design and Build) •CAD Software (ProE or Catia) •Knowledge of injection molding resins and molding press capabilities •5+ years of Automotive Program Management or Project Engineering (Tier 1 or Tier 2) Excellent wage and benefits including health, dental, life insurance, flex benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and 401K.


Mold Setters

Due Date: 4/30/2018

Description: Openings for off shift Mold Setters. * Set molds in presses maintaining safety of setup. * Setup all process parameters to established parameters (heats, dryers, etc.). * Maintain setup equipment and housekeeping of equipment storage area. * To complete all departmental paperwork. * Performance of other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Process Engineer

Description: Genesis Plastics and Engineering is an established custom injection molder located in Scottsburg Indiana, we have a career opportunity for an Injection Molding Process Engineer. We are looking for someone who has exceptional processing skills, troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities and can work with cross-functional teams. Process Engineering is a "hands-on" position that will spend most of the day on the shop floor. We seek someone to help us establish and then expand our use of Scientific – Decoupled - RJG Molding. Primary job duties include: • Responsible for establishing and documenting repeatable molding processes consistent with the principles of scientific, RJG, decoupled molding. • Conducting mold trials, debugging, and continuous improvement efforts. • Conduct mold capability studies and design of experiments when required • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills: Qualifications: • Injection molding process engineering: 5 years+ (Required) • Proven expertise with RJG, Scientific, Decoupled Molding • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and computer skills • Experience in the automotive field is preferred Excellent wage and benefits including health, dental, life insurance, flex benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and 401K.
